    Hello,
    I own a Apex AD-2101 DVD player and I cant find a way to turn off the PBC.
    When playing the movie i prest "Menu" and it stoped playing the movie and wrote above PBC MENU but thats it, it didnt show me a opition to turn it off.
    Any body know how ???

    is there a setup button on the remote or player.

    Yes. but I didnt find their a option to turn on\off the PBC.

    i have the same model and i have yet to find away to turn pbc off, i have the same problem...............

    I have a pioneer and this works for me for VCD.

    If I press play then PBC is automatically on.

    But if I press button 1 then it plays the VCD with PBC off.
