    Hi All,

I'm streaming an audio file and the player is embedded in a webpage. When the audio streams I would like to display the company logo instead of the disturbing visualization effects.
Is there a simple way to do this?

    Thanks for reading,
    Mushtaq

  2. Do you have control of the webpage and server? If so, just load the video that you want.

If this is a 3rd party site, there is no way to control the content they put on

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are asking?

Yes, I do have the control of the webpage & the streaming server.
I'm streaming an audio (wma) & not video. I've tried setting the image in the asx file but it doesn't show up.

  4. Sorry, I'm not as familiar with the specifics of streaming WMV/WMA or silverlight, but in flash you would just make a video (the audio is the same but usually in aac format, but the video is the company logo).

  6. A static logo takes very very little additional bitrate to encode over the audio only. You could even make an animated logo of your company if bandwith isn't a big consideration.

AFAIK, the visualization effects are controlled client side, through plugins on the client computer. So not all computers will have the visualization effects. If you made a video, you would "force" the display to whatever your video showed (e.g. company logo)
