Is there one? I have a bunch of .rm files and they need to be converted to mpg's so I can burn them to a vcd. I tried a 20 minute clip and converted it successfully but it took a LONG time. So I was wondering if there is a substitute out there that I can use...if not please let me know so I dont come back here a bunch of times to see if anyone replied.

No matter what you use (Tinra, EO Video, Realconverter), the process will be slow and the end result so awful that you'll wonder why you bothered.Originally Posted by Devanshu

I don't doubt you, but I have yet to see an .rm file that looked decent after conversion. I've tried converting at least a few dozen to mpeg and/or divx and every one turned out looking worse than my father's old 8mm home movies.Originally Posted by txpharoah
