I have 2 questions:
1. Whats better to covert a Divx to SVCD or DVD-R
2. Can I put the full SVCD on a DVD-R so I don't need 2 discs and still run it on a regular DVD player?

1. DVD is 'better' (quality wise) than SVCD. But only if the source quality is 'better' than SVCD to start with.Originally Posted by Gazlon
2. Yes you can, but DVD player compatibility is not guarnteed. There is a guide (in the Author section I think) and many forum threads on this.
Perhaps consider using CVD format (352*480/576 resolution, mpeg-2) as this will play on most SVCD capable players on CD, and is a legal format for DVD too.
