.tar file problems

ok, i have a .tar file that when i try to uncompress with winrar 3.20 , the following happens, i highlight the 50 files to extract and send them to a folder in my documents, however when i open the folder, expecting to see a .bin and .cue file, all i have are the original 50 files, that ui was trying to uncompress, can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? thanks

There's nothing wrong, it did what you asked.

If you don't see just the bin/cue, then there isn't one. What you see is what you get. A TAR is like a ZIP, bin/cue aren't realted to it specifically. Did you double-click on the BIN file in the GUI and open it in anotehr WINRAR window?

the bin/cue is probably in the 50 files. just extract it from any one of those and it should work.
