    I have an MPG that is VCD. When I play it, it plays fine, but it's saying that the video is only 6 minutes long. The video is really 30 minutes long. If I try and jump ahead in the movie, the image freezes. It's probably something wrong with the header, but what do I use to fix it?

    Why not try de-multiplex and then re-multiplexing the audio and video. You cand do this in TmpGenc, mpeg tools. It can often (tho not always) fix this kind of problem.
