  1. Please can anybody help.Ive got 2 bin and 2 cue files. When i load the cue files with nero im getting an error message(error occured when loading cue file).I have checked the path with notepad and although im not positive i think the path is correct.I have also tried to go direct to the bin file but the file burns but will not play.Is there any other way of burning the bin files.I know the bins are ok because ive played them through a virtual drive.
    Thanks in advance

Assuming that these are video files of some sort.... When you burn the bin directly, are you changing it to burn as mode 2?

If this doesn't work, could you cut/paste one of the cue files to a post here?

You might also be able to use something like VCDgear to pull the mpeg out of the bin, and then use Nero to create a new disk.

You can extract the mpeg using isobuster or vcdgear, then burn to disk using nero or vcdeasy.

To create a cue for your bin check this thread.

That information should be in the cue file. Can you burn a bin without a cue?

Yes. I did it all the time. As long as you select which mode to burn, I have never had a problem. You also have to select the view all files option in the file browser. This was the way before Nero learned to use the cue file. Now that Nero knows what to do with a cue file, I only need to use this method when there is no cue.

  7. Actually, by using Nero to burn BIN images without cuesheets causes a reproducible problem that stuffs up PBC playback. This is documented in the VCDImager website and if you search the forum, you might find the URL to it (sorry, but I don't remember it anymore... ).

  8. open the cue again and copletely remove the path for example...

    if the cue read

    "FILE "c:\temp\movie.bin" BINARY"

edit the path so it now says

    "FILE "movie.bin" BINARY"

exit saving changes and then nero will open the bin file

Interesting! This has never given me a problem. Must be my player doesn't care, or I have been lucky. Never had any problem with datadisk like this either. I'll have to read up on this.

  10. This particular problem affected earlier versions of Nero 5.5 before it had the ability to read the cuesheet...

I don't know about current versions of Nero if you deliberately get it to burn the BIN without using the CUE file.

The original problem caused it to shift the data by 150 sectors... thereby screwing up PBC completely (as it depends primarily on fixed sector locations)...

Now that you mention it, there were a few that I had to turn off PBC to get it to play.
