i use TMPGEnc to cut out certain parts of my files.
After i join everything together, there's an annoying *beep* sound at the spot that i cut out.
Is there any way to prevent this? or is there a better program that i should use to edit MPG's ??

You can demux the a/v, convert mp2 to wav, silence the clip (with cooledit), convert it back to mp2 and mux with tmpgenc. Don't cut it out because your timing will be off.
