I am trying to put some M-JPEG that I captured with on a VCD. Does anyone have a method of doing this. I have tried TMPCenc, and just get a black screen, but hear the sound after completion. Thanks in advance.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Yeah,.. this caught me out at first!
It's easy to fix,...
try this TMPGEnc help page:-
http://www.vcdhelp.com.tmpencsvcd.htm
..and then look at the problems section near the end.
You have to increase the priority of the AVI VFW compatibility reader (as described) and then it works fine.
Good look. -
Thanks,
Found it, I'll give it a try tonight.
BTW, how is the quality of your VCD's. I may start distributing my family videos this way if it will work. -
So far I've only played them back on a PC and I've found them to be quite good.
SVCD's are more tricky to read on a PC, but are much better quality.
Experiment a little first cos sending out SVCD's for people to play on Hardware players seems problematic with compatibility problems.
VCD's are much more friendly in this way.
