I have some DivX movies that I want to write to XVCD. The source files are all NTSCFilm (23.976 fps) at 640x304 pixels.
I've made a bunch of VCDs (352x240) but now I want to try a higher resolution XVCD.
I tried an XVCD at the same resolution as the source, (640x304) but this appeared squashed downwards, and the right hand end of the image was off to the outside of the TV![]()
What is the highest resolution I can convert to for XVCD?
Is there any way to correctly determine the ratio of height to width that I should use?
I'd REALLY appreciate some help
Cheers

I think you can go as high as you want, but remember that the height and width have to be multiples of 8.
I only dream in black & white...
