how to burn games from original disc?

I know this strays away from the vcd recording for movies and i know how to do that, but can someone give me step by step on how to burn original pc game cds using nero 5.5 to another cd.

Do you use the "copy cd" in nero or "mixed mode", and which boxes do you check and uncheck when you write & read it- raw data boxes are checked or not and which if the read error box are used etc etc and unckecked thanx!

Also if it says it is copyrighted can it be copied or not?
