Hello everyone,
I am planning to create a few vcd's/svcd's, and would like to have great advanced looking menus. Now while this site helps with the creation of each one. Which Authoring program would be the best still remains vague. I would love to hear your opinions of which program is the best and why. Thanks.

Try TSCV. It seems to be able to do very interesting menus. You can check sample VCD on their pages.

You can find tscv at http://www.ttool.com. You need vdcimager as well you can get it from the link provided in the how to authoring part of this site. Look under menu creation. You can also prob. use your favorite search engine. Thanks Condor for the suggestion. Will wait for more opinions.

I personally prefer VCD Composer. Like TSCV, it's a GUI for VCD imager. Contrary to TSCV, it gives you full control on your (X)(S)VCD structure though it can sometimes be a little tricky to use. But it can directly read the VCDImager sample XML files which can give you clue about VCD creation and its structure.
By the way, correct link to TSCV is http://www.ttool.de/indexe.htm
