  1. Can anyone help me find a program that will let me do a conversion from 5.1 DTS audio to 6 mono channel waves? I have tried HT3 but it requires the Intevideo Audio Decoder to ru, this I have but the problem is that I can not set it to 5.1 sound since my soundcard does not support this.

Is there any other program that can do this conversion??

    HELP?

You will need Besplit, though i didnt quite understand how to run this program using the ms-dos prompt, I did post on this forum for advise or instruction on how to use the tools suggested in the forum but haven't had a reply yet but perhaps you will know how to.

With regard to the intervideo plugin you can set this by going into your control pannel/sound and audio devices and select 5.1 as the speaker setting for your desktop speakers this should allow you to select 5.1 output on the plugin make sure you change it back when you've finished but it should work whether your sound card has 5.1 outputs or not.

  4. @miketree: WHY NOT? Just for fun or as in my case I want to do a conversion of the DTS sound since the AC3 on the same disk is only 2-channel and I would like both to be 5.1.

@CaptainC: I will try that, sorry but I have not used Besplit.
