I have a lot of mpeg1 VCD files that I'd like to copy to a DVD disk.

Movie Factory will allow me to make a DVD from mpeg1 files as long as I first convert the sound to a 48000 sample rate.

However, can I create a DVD disk from these files without converting the sound (and then play it back in a standard dvd player)?

Alternatively, can you just create a large VCD format disk on a DVD?

    Thanks for your advice...

    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

Thanks, but I've read that guide already...

It wasn't much help because I'm unable to convert the audio on some of my VCD's to 48000 sample rate. Although the VCD's playback ok, when I demux the sound stream the resulting .mp2 file is shorter than the video. So if I then convert the audio and remux, the sound is out of sync.

I've tried several demux programs, and had Movie Factory do the audio conversion, all with the same out of sync results.

So I'd like to find a way of burning lots of mpeg1 files to a dvd disk, without first converting the video or audio streams...
