I've been trying to extract the mpegs from a number of vcds I've made with Nero 5.5 (which play fine in my DVD player) and keep getting read errors (hundreds of them) whether they're read in my regular CD or in my Yamaha CDR. Anyone any idea why or a workaround ?

I used CDRwin to make a .bin with error correction set to ignore and read retry to 5 and got the mpeg out of the bin but there were artifacts, audio pops and frozen frames that weren't on the original. I'm presuming your CloneCD suggestion is doing the same sort of thing. Maybe I have sh*tty media.. 'sweird..
