I am trying to convert an AVI movie to SVCD for the first time and am using one of the newbie guides. I have extracted the audio from the movie as a WAV file by using virtualdub and am now using headache0.23a to resample the WAV to 44.1Khz. Here is my problem:
When I load the WAV (or any WAV for that matter) I get a "could not find data chunk" error. If I ignore this error and click the 'start' button, it tells me that I do not have enough disk space even though I have about 160 GIGs free! I have installed all of the DLL files the program searches for and have codex installed as well.
Has anyone else had these two problems and if so, how did you fix them?
Thanks

You got further than I did - I couldn't even install it!!!
Instead, I use Besweet with the GUI. It converts ac3 to wav perfectly, but I have not yet tried resampling, if it has the featureThx in Advance!! -
Use BeSweet with BeSweet gui, it goes co-nverts just about any audio type to almost any type and back again, plus you can go back and forth between 44100 and 48000 and its free. Get it at www-.doom9.org
