Hi Folks!!
I am trying to import a .m2v-file into DVD-Maestro. When i am dragging it into the video track, i got the error message:"The Video Asset Length is greater than the maximum allowed". The Length of the file is 1h:55m:08s:17f and its size is 3.9 GB.
Thx for your help
best

The only thing that comes to mind is that perhaps you are working with a project file that has been created to write a smaller DVD file and not the normal 4.36 size.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
hmmm...I don't really think so...
i'm runnin the standard settings...
dvd-rom, one sided, 12 cm
didn't have anyone this problem??? -

What version of DVD Maestro are you using? If you're using version 2.5, it is not compatible with Windows 2000 or XP. You'll need version 2.9 if you are using one of these OS's.
I tried version 2.5 with W2K and I got the same error too. As soon as I switched over to version 2.9, it worked great. -
@cellmaniac:
maybe you're right! i'm using version 2.5 running windows xp!
trying to use 2.9...
thx a lot for your help!
