Data files on DVD

I spent a 100 bucks on Cyberlink's PowerDirector last fall and recently bought the Sony DRU 500A burner. PowerDirector doesn't support it! How can I store mpegs on a DVD (+R or -R) just as I have done many times on CDs so that they can be read by standard movie players like Windows Media Player?

Use any dvd burning tool(nero,recordnow,instantdvd) and add the mpegs and burn. If you want to play the dvd on a standalone dvd player you must author it.
