  1. [size=18]hello.. i downloaded an mpeg file 800+mb's in size and it works perfectly well on my pc.. i split it using tmpgenc,so i could view it on my regular dvd,however,the second disc has no sound.. the first disc is perfect so i'm really at a loss as there is no reason i can think of that would explaine the absence of sound on the second disc..the video and audio streams are exactly the same.. .i would appreciate some advice from anyone who has an explaination..

    did you split your file before you encoded (source range) of after (creating to mpg files)

    If you did it the first way, this may be your problem: When encoding the first file you may have chosen a smaller audio bitrate when using TMPenq, but a larger one when you did your second file.

    This is aproblem I have with my Phillips DVD player so to over come it you simply must encode with a smaller audio rate.

    If its the second, I'm afraid I dont have a clue!!
