I've only recently learnt how to rip the subtitles from a DVDs .IFO file using VobSub and then filtering them in and frameserving with VirtualDub to make a VCD with TMpgEnc.![]()
I've manged to do this on several english language films containing subtitles for foreign language bits or lines... But now I'm stuck... I've been trying to get the subtitles for a WorldWar2 film which has got subtitles for the German speaking bits... I've tried extracting ALL 30 odd subtitle streams from the IFO file, but all I end up with is either:
--- subtitles ALL the way through the film, for the two English Sub-Streams
or
--- NO subtitles at all, for the remaining Sub-Streams....

Surely there must be something contained on the disc that gives Subtitles only for the German bits... I've watched it on a standalone to confirm this...
Can anyone explain whats going on here & how to ovecome it...![]()
Oh and apologies if this has been asked before recently...![]()
