    does my card influence the capture quality ? the output avi dv (not compressed) looks worst than the original source....i have a pinnacle dv8

    If you are using windows media player to view this file it might look lousy due to the default DV view settings. To change to DV optimum,

    Tools->Options->Performance->Change Digital Video Setting to 'Large'
    Movie only DVD9 to DVDR guide.
