Certain filters such as "smart smoother" made for V'Dub give you an option box to check that queries whether or not your source is interlaced. There are other filters that ask this and it leaves me scratching me head for the following reason... If I have already implemented a de-interlacing filter prior to adding this "smart smoother" filter to the que should I still consider it an interlaced source therefore checking off this query box?
