  1. It's been floating around this forum that in order to FF/RW on the Apex with SVCDs you need to add a SCANDATA.DAT
    file containing only the text SCAN_VCD without a carriage
    return. While that's all well and good in theory, Nero
    won't let you replace the SCANDATA.DAT it already has placed in the EXT folder. Has anyone figured out how to override Nero?

    I haven't. I'm back to using 5.5.3.5. Also and I'm not sure it it matters but my scandata.dat file that I made is not in capital letters.
