  1. This is actualy a continuation of an post in general Newbie section. Am starting a new post here because I think I was off-base (may not be VFAPI settings) and to avoid confusion.

    Here is problem:

Have used TMPEnc to recode over 100 avi/divx/xvid movies to vcd/scvd without any problems. I did something, have NO IDEA what, but now ALL my recodes are messed up.

The mpegs play and work fine with media player, but when I try to burn:

NEO Results: No problems detected during file analysis and burns the vCD without a problem. However, they won't play. WinDVD says "The file number 1 has invalid format" when trying to open.

VCDEasy Results: File check ok, but when it goes to burn: "invalid mpeg packet found at packet# xxxxxx -- please fix this mpeg file!"

The mpegs can be fixed by De-Multiplex and then Multiplexing and will burn okay with VCDEasy, but get screwed up again in Nero.

ANY IDEA WHATSOEVER WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS???

    Thanx
