I have a 698MB bin file I burnt to a cd with nero at 8X.(fastest it will go).
I watched the movie(it was originally in a 4:3 display) on my crappy Apex DVD player, and found alot of (pixeled) boxes at the bottom half of the screen throughout the movie. So, if I burn this same file at the slowest speed, will it turn out better? It plays fine in WMP. And I actually copied that same bad cd(svcd-mpeg2) back to the my puter and I dont see those pixelated bottom parts showing up. Any help is appreciated..Thanks

  2. Your DVD player probably has difficulty reading your particular brand of CD-R discs.

You could try burning at a lower burn speed. It can make a difference to some drives.

Alternatively, try using different brands of discs.
