Ive been converting anime avi files to mpeg2 so i can play them in my dvd player, the thing is, the ones that are full screen, some of the subtitles get clipped off the screen making it hard to read. Im using TMPGnc to convert and im chosing Full Screen (keep aspect ratio) as the guides at vcdhelp say, but i always get this problem with full screen anime....anyone know a way to fix this? or is that just what happens to converted files?

Have you tried to use "keep aspect ratio 2"? This is supposed to senter the movie on the screen while not cropping the edges.
