DIVX AND DVD WITH AC3? HOW TO GET SPEAKERS TO DO DOLBY?

I have a TV PC THAT I BUILT. I have a Soundblaster live. With Digital out on only. to my digital receaver. How do i get DIVX with AC3 To play as dolby digital on my Speaker. My Speaker work fine when I plug in a DVD player. Digital out is decoed as Dolby Digital. But when I play dvds on my pc NO Dolby Digital at all only Prologic. I chaned Speaker settings in SBLIVE WIRE TO 5.1 and Still only Prologic?? ANY IDEAS??

check the settings of the player software you are using. You usually need to tell the program to output DD.

Do you recommend a spacific program for playing the files..?? I am just using Windows Media player 9 - it is set to 5.1 But my audio box is not receaving an ac3 signal....??

ok...I guess they redesigned it to 'The Core Media Player' I have not used this version but the old PowerDivx works great....and lets you configure your speaker setup for ac3 audio.....

EDIT: I am glad I read your post....the new version looks good I will download it now
