AVI Chooping Trouble

I need to chop like 50 - 70MB Eps to like 15 - 25mb each but i use AVI2CHOP and it screws it up. when i press chop it ends with like a million parts to it and still the parts don't work. Is there a easy way out there to chop 25 mb or 15? any free good prgrams

I am trying to chop by converting the avi to mpg then chopping with tmpgenc but does that make them larger?

I tried using avichop too but i was doing it to delete some freezing frames but to no avail.to answer your question, i think they will be the same mb becuse you're just cutting them and encode them again. encode them and cut them in half using tmpegenc. that's what i did and it worked.

Whats wrong with using Vdub to do this ?

Use keyframes if you do, dont just cut anywhere, jump to the nearest keyframe.
