I have a problem I would really like your help on.
I have an ATI Radeon AIW card, and am using the beta drivers from the ATI site. The reason I am using the beta drivers is because using the regular drivers I
can only get mono sound in Virtualdub. Using the beta drivers I am able to get stereo for some reason.
My problem is that after a period of time, the card begins to display a strange spotting effect in playback, showing white specs in the video. When this happens, the video capture ability also ceases, and you only get a black screen
with a green splotch instead of TV. Sound continues to work though.
Restarting the computer solves this problem and it only happens after several hours. Any idea how I might fix this?
Thank you very much! (And if you know how I might get stereo in Virtualdub using the regular drivers please let me know...I haven't had this problem on the regular drivers yet.)
This is kind of urgent because I need to return the card quickly if there is no fix!
Thanks!
