  1. Sometimes, when I create still menus and compile them, DVDMaestro gives me a compile error - "invalid frame rate" on one of the still menus.

Sometimes rebooting makes it go away - other times not.....

I'm running WinXP and v2915a of DVDMaestro - anybody else had this happen, and is there a workaround?
    Thanks

  2. Wow - figured out what it was..... One of my machines is a dual athlon (it's the one that breaks)...... Somewhere in Maestro there's a race condition problem.

If I affinity DVDMaestro to 1 of the processor with the Task Manager, the problem goes away........

  5. t2dvd - if you use the "task manager" window, highlight DVDMaestro, and right click for the context menu - the very last item on a multi-cpu machine is "affinity" - if you select it, it will show you a set of check boxes for all your processors. Normally, they're all checked. Just uncheck all but 1, and you're golden.

Oliver is my friend,Thx a lot
We found DVDmaestro very good for autoring ,but dakin is more powerful
as it can do something DVDMaestro can't do
What a pity that Apple bought DVDMaestro and no develop for pc anymore

  8. You'd be surprised...... For authoring DVDs, there's very little DVDMaestro can't do - so far I've been able to imitate everything on major DVDs using Maestro (once I got past some of it's quirks). THe only reason you might need Scenarist is if you absolutely have to control exactly what PGC and VTS numbers are used.
