Hi there,
How are those three cards when compared for their Huffy or uncompressed avi captured quality ??
Pinnacle 500+
Marvel G400
Marvel G450-eTV
BTW, is there a card that will capture Huffy or uncompressed AVI in hardware ?
Thx in advance

I dont know if this will help, but Huffy is a SW CODEC only, most that cap to AVI (As in the Pinnacle line) capture to MJPEG format AVIs. Most other tuners have SW selection for what CODEC to copy to. Im working with an ATI-TV WONDER VE right now, not having a great deal of sucess with high quality captures as of yet...

Well vested in the following: Pinnical DC-10+, TMPGEnc, AVI_IO, VirtualDub, Flask, BBMpeg, SmartRipper, DVD2AVI

You can get a Happuage WINTV Go PCI card for $49 that will capture in AVI, use vituraldub to capture in and you can use any AVI codec you want, I use the uncompressed AVI which gives me perfect captures with no frame drops, but huge files, think around 300-400mb per minute.
