I have a question. I have a DivX movie I'm converting into a VCD movie so I can burn it onto a cd and play it in my Settop DVD Player. I'm using VirtualDub to convert the DivX movie's mp3 sound into a seperate wav file. Then I'm opening up TmpGenc to encode the movie using the VCD NTSC settings, and encoding the movie. Then finally using Nero's (5.5.9.17) wizard to create a VCD. Nero verifies the mpg file, and burns it to a cd fine. However, when I play it on my Settop DVD player, it pauses and skips. I have a second Settop player in the house, and it does the exact same thing, in the same places. I know they are both VCD compatible, because I've downloaded VCD/SVCD images and burned them with Nero and they work fine, but for whatever reason, when I try create my own VCD movies, I always get this problem. Any Ideas? I'm stuck here and the girlfriend is getting pissed off because I've wasted days, countless hours and way too many Cd-rs on this little project (We don't even want to talk about the Dvd+rws! ). Please help before my girlfriend kills me :P!!
