    I searched the site for about an hour but I couldnt find any information on removing the region (to make it all regions) when i burn my DVD's to DVD-R (i also have +R) does anyone know where i can find more information on doing this? i was thinking there were some options in authoring programs that might do this but to date i have not found any. thanks.

  3. As far as I know, if you authored your movie you don't need to worry about region code. If you really want to make sure your dvd region free, you can load your VIDEO_TS.IFO file into ifoedit then just click Region free button then save it then burn your authored VIDEO_TS folder. It will make region free dvd.

  5. All the DVDs that you create (DVD+-R/RW) are region free (region 0). If you want to burn files from a region protected DVD you would need a program like Smartripper to remove region protection, and then burn the result files (I'm on Europe so I can talk about removing CSS without worrying for the DMCA ) .
