    When I author & burn my films they play great in stand alone but are all freezing in ps2 I encode with tmpgenc at varying bitrates and DC IS SET AT 10 BITS all other settings are default. HAVE USED VARIOUS MEDIA BUT STILL SAME PROB am authoring with dvdit pe do not make a folder or image just make a straight disk please help as it is getting me down.

    I have the same problems, DVD-R movies will work on Standalone players but just not PS2(freezing ). I guess PS2 just sux as a DVD player.

    Well I record DVD-R's in my Panasonic E-20 and all so far all play in my brothers PS2.

    I think it is probrably just fussy with media. I have tried zero defex discs, they don't work in PS2 either.
