    Is there a way to screenshot or in any other way get a picture from one frame of a video? Whenever I try the print screen button it doesn't capture the picture properly and its all black.

    PowerDVD has a camera button you press to capture a screen shot. Virtual Dub has a Capture source (or output) frame to clipboard options. These the two I can think of right now.

    As well, if you hit "p" on the keyboard in WinDVD, your stills will be saved in Program Files/Intervideo/WinDVD/Capture. Browse to find them there, and if you do this often, you can create a desktop shortcut to that folder.
