I'm compiling a multi-file DVD, and am wondering if the video files will roll from section 1 through section 4 without having to return to the menu after each section and select/click the next section?

I know VideoFactory will play all the way through, but I was hoping to have alittle more menu design with SpruceUp. I would really like them to play consecutively to the end, no matter way section you click.

Help from any SpruceUp gurus would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. If you join the mpegs into one big file, import into Spruce and set chapter points at the joins, that will work.

There might be other ways too, thats just the one I can think of right now!

    Thanks Bugster.

Dah, I don't know what I was thinking. That would be one answer. I'm only used to working with smaller, individual files and am alittle worried about the single file size. Does SpruceUp work well enough to deal with 3 Gig sized files?

Spruceup can handle what you want to do. I've imported files into SU over 4GBytes in size with no problems.

Unfortunately, Spruceup has a very primitive menuing capability, so bugster's method is the one that I would use.

For Maestro, just put each one in its own MOVIE timeline, then set the ENDING ACTION of the last chapter to the 1st chapter of the next movie you want to play. Sound should stay perfectly sync'ed. The ENDING ACTION can be found in the CONNECTIONS window.
