RemuxForge moves audio tracks and subtitles from one release into another (MKV, MP4, AVI or M2TS in, MKV out) when the two don't line up: extra footage at some points, a missing scene, a longer logo, or a PAL/NTSC speed difference.

For a constant offset it matches frames between the two videos and verifies the result. For different edits it compares the videos scene by scene, finds each cut and insert and rebuilds the audio around them. Subtitles and chapters get the same corrections (PGS and VOBSUB included). The edit list can be checked and fixed by hand in a timeline editor. Speed differences are handled by re-encoding the audio to the new length.

There is also a Split mode (frame-exact cuts, re-encoding only the frames next to each cut) and batch metadata editing.

The sync analyses work on progressive video only .. interlaced sources are rejected.

Requires mkvmerge, ffmpeg and MediaInfo.
