  2. I was getting an error on the dscp script when downloading a series, so I ran the error through ai and it said there was a problem here -
    Code:
    Subtitle(
                        id_=track_id,
                        url=dash.url,
                        codec=Subtitle.Codec.WebVTT,
                        language=lang_obj,
                        service=service,
                        is_original_lang=bool(language and is_close_match(lang_obj, [language])),
                        descriptor=Track.Descriptor.DASH,
                        sdh="sdh" in label_text.lower() or role_value == "caption",
                        forced="forced" in label_text.lower() or "forced" in role_value.lower(),
                        name=track_name,
                        data={
                            "dash": {
                                "manifest": manifest,

                            }
                        },
    and to change to -

        ),
        descriptor=Track.Descriptor.DASH,
        sdh="sdh" in label_text.lower() or role_value == "caption",
        forced="forced" in label_text.lower() or "forced" in role_value.lower(),
        name=track_name,
        data={
            "dash": {
                "manifest": manifest,
                "period": first_period,

                "representation": combined_rep,

        },
    That fixed the problem, it said the part in red was the problem so I hope this can help someone with dscp service. thanks again A_n_g_e_l_a for the advice.

  4. Hi A_n_g_e_l_a the hmax service is giving errors on download but my fixed __init__.py works okay, let me know if you want to update your repo with the fix? thank you.

    I actually took stabbys dscp and adapted it for hmax with his instructions and added some fixes that version downloads okay for me

    I'm not sure if you wanted to add my hbo to your repo? cheers A_n_g_e_l_a

    Finally discovered that .gitignore had been preventing stuff in envied's extraservices being uploaded. It all worked fine for me but not for you.

    So .. there are now fully working extra services (YT & DSNP) that you need to configure in envied.yaml - select which python versions you need to match your system. Sorry for the faff but an odd, secretive, developer has repressive views and 'releases' only compiled code - it is coded for unshackle and needs special treatment to run on envied. See envied-working-example.yaml for details of adding extraservices under services:.

    Now up on github https://github.com/vinefeeder/TwinVine/tree/main

    That's not one for me. That is saying the server cannot find the corresponding license (Content Encryption Key) for the KID. Either the video has been pulled or the DSNP script has an error. Please don't call me for these errors.

    What I'm saying is it looked like a DSNP server error - you'll know it is the service if it happens on all other requested videos.

    And be mindful you will be sending your private cookies or login data to sp4ky's server. His remote services remain and run on his server; no-one is able to see the code. If he wishes he could take your login data. Sometime there is a price for convenience.

    More generally I just want people to read the error messages they get and decide if it's an envied snag or the the service's.

    Thanks for the info on that A_n_g_e_l_a, I won't use that service and I've changed my login info.

    I must say the setup on Twinvine is really simple and the services I've tested work great big props on a fantastic release!

    Yes, big props to the people who code the services and maintain them, thank you.

  15. I have figured out my problem with Tubi TV. It turns out that it needed playready decryption instead of widevine. It indicates it here in the error message:

    Code:
    │ C:\TwinVine\packages\envied\src\envied\commands\dl.py:4249 in                │
    │ service_licence                                                              │
    │                                                                              │
    │   4246 │   │   if drm_system is None:                                        │
    │   4247 │   │   │   drm_system = "playready" if is_playready_cdm(self.cdm) el │
    │   4248 │   │   fn = service.get_playready_license if drm_system == "playread │
    │ ❱ 4249 │   │   return fn(**declared_kwargs(fn, kwargs))                      │
    │   4250 │                                                                     │
    │   4251 │   def prepare_drm(                                                  │
    │   4252 │   │   self,                                                         │
    │                                                                              │
    So I went into the .yaml and changed Tubi to playready and it seems to work. Maybe some titles at Tubi are Playready and maybe some are Widevine; or maybe they recently switched everything to playready.

  16. Hi A_n_g_e_l_a,

    I was just reading through your Twinvine github page and noticed "Be sure to select the version for your system (x64 systems will use arm64). download and rename hola-proxy; place it in the binaries folder or on your system's PATH." maybe a small typo as I used hola-proxy.windows-amd64.exe on a Windows 11 system.

    Thanks A_n_g_e_l_a

  22. Sorry, when I said "from scratch," I really meant it—I've never used Python and don't know how to install Twinvine; I've just got Windows 11 and a dream. Could you explain it to me from the very beginning? If someone has already explained it, just repost it—I don't want to bother anyone.
    One more question: do I need an L1/SL3000 CDM?

    Sure, an !8 month. one to one, course tailored to your individual learning style will cost only £150,000 or 200,000 USD (that is with 25% discount already included for VH members). We accept PayPal. Be quick - these prices cannot last!

    Kindly know the teaching and learning you seek is an enormous commitment of our course-leader's time and must be compensated. I'm sure you understand your request for a freebie simply won't work. The cost to you, in reality, is only a meagre token of the true value. Look at it as an investment. You know it makes sense.

    Or if you cannot afford a, high-quality, personalized course right now, you could just search and start reading the Internet, for it is clear you haven't done so yet.

    Begin at the place Twinvine lives - you never know some idiot may have written a guide to its installation and use - probably not though - why would anyone want to be helpful and do that? And who would read any guide even if they did write one? Pointless is you ask me.

    It's far better if every newbie turning up here asks the same questions over and over and over and over again. No-one needs wit, nous or imagination just turn up here and your question. We won't get bored. Every question will be answered.

    How to use python - you ask? Start by installing it. How do I install it? Read a help guide. How can I find a help guide? Search the internet and let the folks here have some peace - O

    While searching and reading the Internet maybe ask chatGPT to hold your hand while you try make sense of it all.

    We can agree on one point, you say you don't want to bother anyone. That is great, for I don't want to be bothered by you either.
    Okay, here goes.
    To start, I want to offer a thousand apologies for the inconvenience. You probably don't care to hear this, but ever since I was seven years old, I’ve been fascinated by audiovisual content.

    However, every site I found only offered web-rips, or else high-quality content wasn't available in my language.

    That’s why I decided to dedicate myself to learning how Web-DL works; I managed to get a CDM and apply it to an extension, which allowed me to obtain some content—though, as I mentioned, it was low quality. I found this forum and asked for help because, in case you didn't know, it is practically impossible to learn this on the open internet. My intention was simply personal use and to contribute to the community that once captivated a seven-year-old boy.

    Once again, I apologize for the trouble; it was definitely never my intention to disrespect anyone.

  27. Have you even bothered to read the first post in the actual thread your posting in ? And make a start ?

    Everything you need is in the stickies and the posts in the forum.

    No one will mind helping you over a couple of difficult hurdles, in fact the knowledgeable people on here will be glad to; but your being completely bone idle, and won't help yourself by reading up.

    You don't need any help yet, because you've done zero, probably not even installed Python and read up on its basics.

  28. nofear unless you have lots of space on hard drives perhaps lower sized videos may be for the best anyway. 720 is usually the max I go for. Go to Angela's website and do a lot of reading and thinking. She has a lot of information there. It is kind of confusing as you said you were able to download and you wanted better quality videos and then you wrote you don't know to get it set up. Perhaps you were using another program such as Widevine Proxy 2 to download with.

    Thanks, bro.

    Yes, I was using Widevine Proxy 2, and I could only download in low quality.

    As for the hard drive, yes, I have a considerable amount of space.

    I spent the day studying Python (I'm off work today); so far, I've only managed to run a simple variable.

    I'm going to keep studying, and once again, a thousand apologies to everyone.

  30. I know it seems daunting. It boils down to installing one of the newer versions of Python on your computer and checking that box to make it available system wide; I am little fuzzy as it has been so long ago that I installed it. Then with Twinvine you read about how to get it installed. Angela has a lot of stuff built in which is terrific. Then it is a matter of getting your .yaml file configured and making sure you have the correct tools that Twinvine uses. Then you look at the usage chart as to how to use it. So keep studying and hopefully you get some guidance when you need it.

    That hard drive space it may seem a lot but you would be amazed how fast it can gobbled up if you were to download an entire series at the higher qualities; so it is something to consider. Do you have fast internet? Do you have a VPN?
