  1. Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to learn how to download DRM-protected videos by following this tutorial

I’ve installed the required software and pushed frida-server into a rooted Android Studio virtual device successfully. When I run dump_keys.py in dumper, it reports a series of INFO, DEBUG and Hooks completed.

However, when I play a DRM-protected video, I can't get any further output from the dumper.

I’ve tried videos from npo.nl and lascala.tv (requires login but free to watch), unfortunately both of them have the same issue.

I may have missed something in the setup, so I was wondering if anyone could kindly point me in the right direction or suggest what I should check.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

  2. The question must be asked, why are you even bothering to dump your own L3 when there are hundreds of free for all, ready to go ones posted on here ?

Unless, of course, its a personal target you want to achieve?

  3. Thanks, I just want to test whether I could obtain my own CDM. I have already tried using available L3 CDMs with WidevineProxy2 and successfully downloaded videos.

There's nothing wrong with that - good luck to you - have you tried keydive ? Its much easier.
