Which has been my preferred 'Go To' option for a long time. But the last 20+ attempts at getting YT videos has had zilch turning up (totally blank) in the main box. It was working just fine not long ago, and nothing has changed here. I'm running the latest version of TD. So I'm currently deferring to one of 4 or 5 other downloaders that I have on tap for regular use, while there remain a few additional others that I could use but normally don't bother to. The other downloaders -- like Allavsoft (also a current version) -- don't seem to be exhibiting any problem like this. Here is one typical example, a YT video that just dropped today:

Believe me, I am not singling you out by any stretch of the imagination: I do this for PDF editors, video editors, for browsers, for you-name-it, every category. Because: I'm a firm advocate that just one app in any category is never going to be sufficient to cover all the needs of users, or all of the situations that they are apt to run into. So users will want to stay informed about their other options. One needs a "Plan B" and a "Plan C", to avoid getting marooned with no solution. I'd go so far as to say that having those alternate options available is more of a necessity, if you really want to be prepared for contingencies. There was no intent to slight any particular product; they each have their own particular features, their own particular virtues and shortcomings. I've even found significant result differences, success vs. failure differences, amongst those apps that you lump all together as "yt-dlp clones" -- something that is not incidental or trivial.
