  1. Hi everyone, I wanted some help, I have to record via tubedigger but the chromium browser that has integrated when I open a video from the site that I have to record the video tells me drm error while if I open it with chrome it's fine but tubedigger only uses chromium how can I solve it? thanks a lot to whoever will help me

    tubedigger use old CEF which will be updated soon that's problably why you get this error

    Just because you use Chrome, you do not have to use Chromium. There are several integrated browsers to choose from.

    However....


    AFAIK Whatever browser you select will not over-ride DRM etc. The developer wants to keep it 'legal' and thus avoid potential consequences.

    thanks to everyone for the replies, the browser is selectable and only chromium I don't see any others in the settings other than ie explorer which is obsolete, the fact that chromium doesn't seem to have the right rights to open the video while chrome does and I wanted to know if you can change browser

    Yes. There are 4 (maybe even more in the more updated versions of the program) variants of Chromium. I tend to use Chromium (iPad).

    What sometimes works is that you can open the video in Firefox when tubedigger is open but, again, I suspect the DRM issue still prevails.


    The developer is quite responsive with inquiries so no harm in asking.
