  1. I am trying to merge the two discs of The Ten Commandments. I ripped both of them and when I try to merge them I loose the chapter titles. How can I merge them with mkvtoolnix and keep the chapter titles for both video files and having the second disc chapter titles start after the firsr disc's chapter titles. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to extract the 2 chapters files first, I use Inviska MKV Extract to do this, then edit the second chapter file to reflect the chapter numbers and edit all the times of each chapter ins and out. Then append the second chapter file to the first.

Append the video and audio of part 2 to part one and your new chapter file. I'm not aware of a method to do this automatically.

  3. It can be done in Smart Media Cutter but in paid version only. It allows to join video files and keep the chapters with the correct new timing.
