Hi all,
I am a Premiere Pro user and I'm trying to rewrap my camera footage (.mts) to MXF so that I can edit it smoothly and easily in Premiere Pro. I can't import the .mts files into Premiere; they hang. I've been using TMPGENC MPEG Smart Renderer 4 in Windows 10 for rewrapping, but that software no longer works in Windows 11; it won't even load. MXF files are my best option for performance and filesize.
Rather than pay for upgrading to TMPGENC MPEG Smart Renderer 6, I decided to look into free options, even if rewrapping involves a bit more work. I've been trying XMedia Recode, but for some reason it will not convert nor pass through the audio. If I select Stream only copy, the video passes through but the audio does not. If I deselect Stream only copy, I get an error message that says "An error occurred when converting."
Below is the Mediainfo date for the video:

Davexnet, thanks for your reply. I did the rewrapping using the command line and the file rewrapped perfectly!
So now I'll just do what I need to do using the command line.
I also tried Shutter Encoder...that didn't work either.
