I bought a Sony HDR-CX440 camcorder on Ebay. It looks like it's hardly been used. Everything is great - except that it does not record video! When I press the start/stop button, nothing happens. The photo button, however, works just fine. I've checked everything I can think of. I have a new and formatted micro-sd card inserted. The camcorder also has 8GB of internal memory. I've reset the camcorder. I've been through every menu item. I've checked everything over and over. The record button is completely ineffective. Can anyone help me, or is this simply a bad, unfixable camcorder? Thank you
