    SVCD stutters at times, while VCD doesnt, it is a long video though, about 55mins i think... isnt SVCD supposed to be better? please answer...

    well, I dont think I am going to pinpoint an answer for you, but "a" possible solution is that your SVCD is not truly SVCD, but maybe XSVCD. do your other SVCD's work with the exception of this one?
