    Hello,
    I'm converting a 4K video to reduce its size but HandBrake fails after many minutes of encoding with this error:

    The filename is short and the destination directory is in a folder in the same directory of the source, I tried many attempts but still getting error.

    Try converting the same file in Avidemux or Virtualdub and compare the results.
    If it stops in a similar place there may be source file problem
