The script saves cached pages, so first view only half of the document, save the PDF, then view the second half and save again. After that, merge and correct (if necessary) using PDF-XChange Editor. That is, of course, if the problem is the file size. Or provide a link, and I'll try to help you.

The only difference is that you won't use a browser, and instead an app. I used fiddler classic. There are other alternatives that can be found on google.

I think you can block one time requests in fiddler as well. No idea how though.
