  1. Hello, First of all, I do not have a premium YouTube account.

Since the quality published on official sites(tv serie) was low, I decided to download it from YouTube and tried downloading it with the code below.

    Code:
    yt-dlp -F --extractor-args "youtube:player_client=default,ios" "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68X0uFqW98s"
Looking at the image below, I wrote the following code by writing the premium video quality + audio ID.

    Code:
    yt-dlp -f "616+140" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68X0uFqW98s

The downloading process finished and it was downloaded as 1.8 GB, not even half of the 5.06 GB that appeared there.

I have searched many places, maybe it used to work but now it probably doesn't.

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

I downloaded the program you said, opened it directly, copied the link, selected 616+140 from the select formats option below and started the download. The download counter was showing the progress of the download. I went in for two minutes and came back, it was showing an error message, but the file was downloaded and unfortunately it was 1.70 GB. and Have you ever tried it?

  4. The filesize estimates are just that: estimates. For fragment based formats like HLS or DASH there is no way the client can reliably know the filesize before the download is finished. Your format 616 really isn't 5 GB in size, the bitrate is more around 2000 kb/s than 5000 kb/s.

    ffprobe says: Duration: 02:04:50.56, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 1951 kb/s

If I could download it as a Premium 616 format, I could at least compare the downloaded file information. First I need to find a way to download it as premium. I hope someone can help.

  7. hi mjking, the value 5.06 GB is just an estimation of the video but the real value of the video is 1.8 GB with video + audio in premium mode.
