  1. Hello all.
I have a DVD9, and I want to cut the first chapter from the film, without re-encoding.
(possibly outputting to a new .vob file).
Does anyone know how I can I do that?
I tried to do this here:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/396318-Splitting-DVD-into-Chapters#post2576435
    but it didn't work.
It presented me with this error:
--- Errors emitted by job 'Multiplexing to file "VTS_02_1.mkv" in directory "C:\Users\User\Desktop"' started on 2024-10-23 21:06:54 +03:00 ---
Invalid chapter number '' for '--split' in '--split chapters:': Not a valid number or not positive.

  2. With MakeMKV you can remux DVD to MKV, and with LosslessCut you can cut chapters without transcoding.
