I have this dvd that its subtitles dont disappear when i play it in a blu ray player (it works just fine when put in a dvd player.. or a ps4. it also works on pc.) this has been consistent across three different brands of blu ray players. So i was investigating what could be the reason for that, and i found that another dvd's subpic info (one that didn't have the same issue) looked like thisMeanwhile the DVD with the problem looked like thisCode:Subpic# = 11 (5 in stream) StreamID = 0x21 LBA = 5501 V/CID = 1/6 PTS = 146685771 Duration = 3.636s TimeCode: 00:00:19,933 --> 00:00:23,569 DCSQT: 0 Start Set Color: e2=0 e1=1 p=2 b=3 Set Transparency: e2=0 e1=15 p=12 b=12 Set Display Area: sx=0 ex=719 sy=2 ey=477 Set field indexes End of commands DCSQT: 1 -- Delay 3.636s StopI'm pretty sure the issue comes from setting the field indexes a second time. There is no other difference that i could find that could make create that issue. My question is: How can i modify that subpic info? I wanna remove the second "set field indexes" and put it in a dvd to see if THAT is the reason for the problem, so i need to modify it in some way. Any help is welcome!! Thanks in Advance!Code:Subpic# = 0 (0 in stream) StreamID = 0x22 LBA = 2800 V/CID = 1/7 PTS = 188808543 Duration = 5.760s TimeCode: 00:00:04,280 --> 00:00:10,040 DCSQT: 0 Set Color: e2=15 e1=14 p=13 b=12 Set Transparency: e2=0 e1=12 p=13 b=15 Set Display Area: sx=0 ex=719 sy=2 ey=574 Set field indexes Start End of commands DCSQT: 1 -- Delay 5.760s Stop Set field indexes

It is a store bought dvd, this issue is consistent with all of their releases. Turning the subtitles off in the blu ray player *does* turn them off. To go more in-depth; when the time for the subtitle to stop being displayed comes, it disappears for like a frame and then reappears and will stay there unless you turn the subs off or you make the blu ray player go back like a second and press play again.
